Sfax Faculty of Medicine - in Tunisia

The Sfax Faculty of Medicine is one of the oldest institutions of Sfax University for the South. It was created according to the low nb 74/83 of December 11th, 1974. It is located in the town centre, in the vicinity of two university hospitals : the Hedi Chaker and Habib Bourguiba hospitals. Both provide all types of medical, surgical and biological specialties and very good training fields for our medical students, residents and university fellows.

- The medical school of Tunis opened in october 1964. - 54 students came from the classe preparatoire in the faculty of sciences of Tunis. - Premises: - October 1964 – Jaunaury 1965: a roo; in the faculty of Arts of Tunis. - January 1965 – onwards: Antoine cassar ward in Charles Nicolle hospital.
